Content on this site — guides, articles, FAQs and cost ranges — is general information, not a quote or professional advice for your specific situation. Plumbing and gas systems differ from home to home; the price and approach for your job are confirmed in a written estimate before work begins. We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but we can't guarantee it is free of errors.
Estimates and scheduling
Quotes for scheduled work are free. An estimate covers the scope described in it; if conditions found on site change the scope — hidden damage, code issues, inaccessible piping — we tell you and agree on any change before proceeding.
Licensing, permits and code
All work is performed under Massachusetts Master Plumber License #17137, in accordance with the Massachusetts plumbing and fuel gas codes (248 CMR). Where a permit is required, we pull it with the local plumbing or gas inspector and the work is inspected. We do not perform unpermitted work where a permit is required.
Workmanship
We stand behind our work. Fixtures and equipment we install carry their manufacturers' warranties; we'll register or document them for you where applicable. If something we installed isn't right, contact us and we'll make it right.
Liability
IS Plumbing LLC is fully licensed and insured in Massachusetts. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the amount you paid for the services concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Massachusetts law, including consumer protections under M.G.L. c. 93A.
