IS Plumbing is a licensed plumber serving Quincy, MA — Quincy Center, Wollaston, North Quincy, Squantum and Houghs Neck — with plumbing, water heaters, boilers, gas fitting and drain work.
Quincy blends dense two-families and triple-deckers near the center and Wollaston with coastal single-families out toward Squantum, Houghs Neck and Adams Shore. That means aging supply lines, cast-iron drains and heating systems that need an experienced hand, plus fixture and remodel work. We handle it all — pulled under the proper City of Quincy permits and inspected.
Quincy is on MWRA water and sewer, and a lot of it is coastal — Houghs Neck, Squantum, Merrymount, the beaches off Wollaston — where high groundwater and storm tides find every weak basement. Sump pumps, backwater valves and relocated utilities are steady work here, alongside the triple-deckers and two-families around Quincy Center and North Quincy that carry the usual pre-war pipe.
Permits file with the City of Quincy and inspections are included in every job. The Quincy projects we see most: water heaters replaced before the old tank lets go in a finished basement, per-unit splits in two- and three-families, and drain lines cameraed and cleared where roots and age keep closing them up.
"IS Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company I've ever used. I've owned my home about 35 years and tried several plumbers around MetroWest — these guys are on another level."
"True professionals — respectful and tidy. I've worked with them three times. The last was a burst water main; they were the only ones who responded fast, offered a solution, and got it done."
"Fantastic experience. They did the plumbing for two bathroom renovations — our master bath and the kids' bath — and the whole process was smooth, professional, and on time."
